It's April Fools Day...

which is supposed to be funny. Not cruel. And Mother Nature is tinkering on the side of cruel. And I have had enough.

Look at those poor little kiddies at the bus stop. In this April {yes, that's right} blizzard.

On a lighter and warmer note, what do you do for April Fool's Day? I admit I've always been kind of a boring joker. But this year I want to do something fun for the kids. I wanted to switch them in their beds last night so they would wake up in the wrong bed, but it didn't work. Each time we tried Ashlyn woke up and said "what are you doing?". Then this morning I put forks in their cereal bowls which they thought was funny, but that's it. I'm thinking of doing a mystery dinner for fun, where everybody orders but doesn't know what they are getting. Help me out, what do you do?

I was lame and didn't do anything although Taylor was on a rampage, Hiding the soap in the shower, switching the cereal in cereal boxes, putting spiders (fake ones) all over. The cross guard was wearing a Santa Hat for the kids yesterday, it was pretty cute.
