Big whoop! A Campout!

I'm finally getting around to pictures of our last summer hoorah! We went camping at Flaming Gorge with my family in August. I was skeptical of the whole camping thing--Shane isn't much of a camper, but we had a great time! The girls keep asking when we can go again. It's always fun to spend time with family that we don't get to see much. We really missed Norm and Rachael--we are always lacking in the sarcasm department in the Partridge family and we found ourselves missing the king and queen.

There was plenty of boating, sun, wind, kiddie crafts, tabloid reading/discussing, treats, Yahtzee and good old R and R. And nobody killed anybody else. Or even yelled, stomped or rolled their eyes. There wasn't even any drama that I can remember. And that's always a bonus after any family outing.

Uhhh... sorry to be the Debbie Downer, but did you forget about the whole bottle-of-water-to-the-crotch incident?!?! That was a tad dramatic (and I think that I may have rolled my eyes).

Definitely should become a tradition. (the camping, not the bottle of water thing)

Oh...it was no big deal, but a Partridge memory. Thanks Meg for showing the pictures. I had a great time too, and I know I have the cutest grandkids ever. *I soooo like Flaming Gorge more than Lake Powell. I didn't see one poop float by!

Cute pictures, but they made me depressed! And I'm not even in on this "bottle-of-water-to-the-crotch" deal, which I'm sure was awkwardly hilarious. Not that you guys have to just sit around while I'm not there...but could you? Actually, I would still probably feel like I was missing out, even if you guys were just sitting around -- it's sort of what we do best.
