Glory to God...and the Utes

I never took the chance to brag about my Utes! Although I never thought I'd be on the couch recovering from our loss while watching my team play Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, it was awesome all the same. I had to double check to make sure that my Lortab wasn't causing me to hallucinate the domination. It was a great showing from the very beginning! I never doubted that they could hang with the Crimson Tide, but I never imagined they would play like they did. What a great year--and all of us Utes have bragging rights for a long while! All those crappy years when we have hung in there have paid off!
A week after the victory, I was driving over to Lehi and passed this church on the highway. I did a double take because it was so funny! Lucky me, I still had my camera in my purse from all of the holiday celebrations. I couldn't help but pull over and take a picture {you know, because that's what this whole blogging thing has done to all of us...} I don't know which Highland ward this is, but I'm thinking of switching over...

I scared the crap out of Ryan when I saw that very flag of Alpine Highway. I gasped so loud...lol
Of course, thought of you and how happy you would be to see it. Lo and behold you did. How funny.

Oh my heck....that has to be the best pic. of the year. I am no Ute fan but I have to say that was a darn fine season and last game!
